It all started back in early June during an event in Kuala Lumpur. Name cards were exchanged and from that brief connection, AxcelAsia AXCELASIA GROUP reached out to learn more about CFM and gain a deeper understanding of our role within the communications and multimedia industry.Fast forward to 10 July, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Mr. Chang Ming Chew and the wonderful team from AxcelAsia at our office! 👋✨At CFM, we believe that inclusivity goes beyond engaging with our traditional stakeholders. It also means opening our doors to organisations and professionals who are eager to better understand the industry, build meaningful connections, and contribute to a more informed and collaborative ecosystem.What stood out about AxcelAsia was their genuine commitment to learning. Their interest in understanding the communications and multimedia landscape stems from a desire to create even greater value for their clients, and we commend them for taking this proactive step. It is always encouraging to meet organisations that invest time and effort in expanding their knowledge so they can better serve those they work with.During our session, we had an engaging discussion on the communications and multimedia ecosystem, CFM's role within the industry, and the shared opportunities and challenges that shape the sector. The exchange of ideas and perspectives made for a truly meaningful conversation.We were also deeply touched by the kind words shared by their Managing Director, Mr. Chang Ming Chew. 📢 𝐂𝐅𝐌 𝐝𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐅𝐎𝐈) 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦29 Jun 2026 | Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB), Kuala Lumpur - Forum Pengguna Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (CFM) telah dijemput oleh Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ) untuk menyertai Freedom of Information (FOI) Forum, yang dianjurkan bersama oleh Malaysian Bar Council dan CIJ.Forum ini menjadi platform perbincangan yang menghimpunkan pelbagai pihak berkepentingan bagi membincangkan isu-isu berkepentingan awam serta memperkukuh advokasi ke arah penggubalan rangka kerja FOI yang lebih berkesan dan pragmatik di peringkat Persekutuan. Perbincangan turut menyentuh manfaat pelaksanaan FOI, cabaran semasa serta cadangan penyelesaian bagi memperkukuh akses kepada maklumat demi kepentingan masyarakat.Penyertaan CFM dalam forum ini mencerminkan komitmen berterusan organisasi dalam memperkukuh tadbir urus yang telus, di samping menggalakkan perkongsian ilmu serta memperluas kerjasama strategik bersama pelbagai pihak berkepentingan ke arah pemerkasaan pengguna.CFM merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada CIJ atas jemputan yang diberikan, serta kepada semua penganjur, panel dan peserta yang telah menjayakan forum ini.
