EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Khaneeza Khalid is a Senior Director of MCMC who was seconded to CFM on 15 November 2023, as Executive Director. She has served for 10 years at MCMC, leading several functions such as human capital management and development, and organisational optimisation. Her last role at the MCMC was as the Head of the MCMC Academy Division, where she was involved in the Industry Training and Development collaboration programs with Institutions of Higher Learning and Government bodies. She is also responsible for ensuring the awarding of Digital Society Research Grants (DSRG) by MCMC.

In general, Khaneeza has 34 years of work experience, starting as an Engineer in the manufacturing sector and then transitioning to the telecommunications sector. Before joining MCMC, she spent about 20 years at Telekom Malaysia in manning-level studies, organisational development, quality management, project management, and talent development. During that period, she was also seconded to Axiata Group Berhad for projects involving the post-merger and acquisition of telecommunications companies operating in Bangladesh and Cambodia. Her last position at Telekom Malaysia was as the Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Multimedia College.

Khaneeza obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering (cum laude), from Bradley University, Illinois, USA, and a Master of Science in Quality and Productivity Improvement from the National University of Malaysia. She has also successfully completed the Leadership Development Program in Digital Transformation in 2024 from Imperial College Business School, London.
