Communications & Multimedia Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM) has introduced the General Consumer Practice Sub-Code on Opt-In Requirements.
The Sub-Code aims to protect consumer rights by ensuring that service providers obtain clear, informed, and voluntary consent before consumers are subscribed to services such as auto-migration, roaming, and value-added services (VAS).
The Sub-Code empowers users to make informed decisions and maintain greater control over their telecommunications service subscriptions.
